Legend of Korra Book 2 to Release in Mid-April
The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. Janet Varney has officially announced that Book 2 of The Legend of Korra will air somewhere “mid-April.” This announcement was kept very private mostly because she never tweeted that, “Book 2 is coming in mid-April!” A fan actually asked her when Book 2 would be making its debut and she replied back saying “mid-April.”

Book 2 Color Correction

Being at a color correction session for Book 2 today reminded me that I kicked off this blog a year ago this week with a snapshot of Korra from a Book 1 color correction session. A year later and I’m still behind in all my work, you’re all still mad the show is not out yet (which, please understand, is akin to being mad at a tree for not growing apples fast enough), and Korra is still a badass.
Thanks for caring enough to be mad and for following this blog! Love, BryanWhich only means one thing and that is book 2 is just a couple of weeks from release. How exciting is that?

Grey DeLisle to Voice Book 2 Enemy: The Dark Spirit
It is confirmed through Grey DeLisle's tweet that she'll be voicing the new villain of "The Legend of Korra" Season 2. For your information Grey DeLisle was the voice actor of the original series "Avatar : The Last Airbender" . We sure can expect some awesome episodes up ahead

Legend of Korra Book 2 Release Date?
We just saw this tweet which David Faustino posted on his twitter page a while ago. Does this mean that The Legend of Korra Book 2 is coming up in April 2013? Well we guess it does. But stay tuned for more updates.
For those of you who don't know who David is. Well he voices Mako in the series and is an extremely talented artist.

Legend of Korra Book 2 Information Update
This post has all the updates we've received so far from The Legend of Korra's Book 2. This post is subjected to changes as we receive new updates. So make sure that you stay updated

Information Update
- Book 2 is named “Spirits and will take place 6 months after the end Of Book 1.
- They are showing artwork from Book 2, including snowy landscapes of the Southern Water Tribe during a festival, including a big hall made of Ice.
- They will travel into the SWT Tundra, with bright green sky.
- They will encounter a glowing iceberg similar to Aang’s from 101.
- They will travel back to the Southern Air Temple in Book 2.
- We will get spirit world action, Book 2 will explore the history of the Avatar (creation of the avatar) and The Spirit World. 2 special episodes devoted to this (I think).
- Asami will take over Future Industries and Bumi and Kya will be main characters.
- Bumi wears Pink earmuffs.
- The characters will all have updated winter looks for the Water Tribe.
- We will meet Korra’s uncle Unarock (not sure if this is the correct spelling, just what someone posted) supposedly all of Korras family is BA.
- Kya is a bit of a bippy, has a special bond with Jinora.
- Bolin will wear a green parka.
- Mako will have a coat.
- We will see more of Korra’s parents, Tonraq and Senna, including flashbacks of Tonraq in his 20′s…..Shirtless, Unarok is his brother, who is posh, from the NWT. More on North Vs South issue. He has twins.
- They show a spirit who is spiny and evil looking.
- Pro Bending will return, they show an Animatic of The Fire Ferrets Vs The Lion Elephants.
- Korra is racing Jinora in Airball and uses the Avatar State to beat her which annoys Tenzin, animatic I think.
- Motorcycle chase with Mako and Korra chasing some robbers.Storyboards.
- Mako becomes a cop in Book 2
- The Fire Ferrets now consist of Bolin and 2 new teammates, which I assume makes Bolin the Captain. Playing with new players the team is losing.
- Korra is attacked by a spirit and pinned down and uses the Avatar state to free herself. Storyboards.
- Bolin looking for his path in life.
- Tonraq’s brother mentioned above is more in touch with the spirits and helps Korra with the Avatar State he is the head of the NWT, Chief I assume.
- Bolin is friends with a guy named Verick and they have a funny relationship, as Verick is a ladies man.
- They are recording the crowd in the panel for use in probending crowd scenes in Book 2.
- For Book 2 Bryan is focusing more on design and more writers have come in to help Mike, so basically work is being done on 2,3 and 4 as we speak in some form or other.
- Kya is really into healing.

The Legend of Korra Book 2 – Confirmed by Series Co-Creator
Some people doubt Legend of Korra Season 2 (Book 2) airing for some reason. But now we've got it's release confirmed by Bryan Konietzko (Co- Creator of Nick's TV series The Legend of Korra) from one of his blog posts.
Popular questions answered;
- The Legend of Korra Book 2 is definitely releasing.
- It's going to be 14 episodes (14 chapters) long.
- Production of this new series is already underway.
- Premiere date is yet unknown.
Book 2 is happening, and is 14 episodes long. No, I don’t know when it comes out. REALLY, I DON’T. But no, it won’t be another two years from now, as we are already in production on it (that’s the brutal thing about TV, the schedule overlap). So all I can say, and it is the honest truth, is that we’re working really hard on it! – Bryan Konietzko
